Boulder Flood 1 year later

Last September 13th (a Friday taboot), Boulder Creek was flowing near 5500 cfs.  It rained a year's worth of rain in a few days.  People lost livestock, cars, houses, pets and their lives.  Roads still have not been completely repaired.  To call the event historical would be an understatement.  There were no passable roads to work, and I had no electricity at home, so I took the day off.  When the rains stopped temporarily I walked to take it in, and took a few pictures with my phone.  Today it was tranquil and meandering at 25 cfs, with all the stress of Andy Dufresne on a Mexican beach, obeying gravity at a snail's pace.  I decided to walk again, this time to compare last year's photos with a typical view of Boulder creek in September.  Here's what I saw:
